| Hi Guys and Dolls, I am very excited to be able to share my idea for a water fountain with you today. Thank you DeeinNJ, your official Diorama Diva instructor and the rest of the DD Mods for this wonderful opportunity. Today I will be showing you the secret to my "water" fountain. Please work in a well ventilated area as you will be using both hot glue and plastic. |

You will need: A fountain base. I got these 3 from Dollar General for under $2ea (They are stands for fat candles) A small round mirror MUST fit in the top of your fountain base. Piece of Transparency Sheet. I cut mine from the front of an old Barbie box Hot glue gun & glue sticks. Scissors and kitchen sheers. Ruler and pen. Scotch Tape Tooth pix (optional) |
| If your glue gun is anything like mine it will need a little time to warm up so plug it in and leave it somewhere safe to warm up while we get the transparency sheet cut to size. | |
| You need to cut a piece 5 inches x 1 inch. |

Next comes the fun part. We are going to cut the thinnest strips you can length ways. Stopping about 1 inch from the end. When your done it should look like the picture on the right. Next using your kitchen sheers you want to cut a piece of a glue stick about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long. |

| Next step you need to put a globe of glue in the
center of the mirror and stand the piece of clue stick you cut upright
in to the globe,
just like the picture. |

Next we are going to wrap scotch tape
around the transparency where we didn't cut it and bring the sides together. Now slip it over your glue stick piece like the picture to the right. |

| With that done we are now going to dribble glue down the sides of the
uncut part of the transparency. Careful not to get to close to the top
or the cut strips will start drooping and melting from the hot glue.

Next we are going to start bending over our cut strips. This is where the tooth pix can come in handy to avoid burning fingers. The red dots show where each of the strips attaches to the mirror. To start with we are going to take every other strip and attach it to the outside perimeter. |

Now we are going to do the rest of the
strips a little closer to the interior of the fountain to create some
variation in our "water" streams. The blue dots show where the
second row of strips need to be glued. |

One last thing, you notice I did not glue the mirror into
the base, that way if I wish to switch bases I can.

I hope you found my tutorial helpful and you are now inspired to make your
very own water fountain for your dolls garden.
Thank you
