A home in the making!

Part 2 (Contractors)

The crown molding has been cut to size, and the boys are getting the final coat of white paint on the pieces.

Steve is just having to much fun teasing Jack about how they are almost done and then he will have no excuse to see Heather again.

Jack does not find this amusing, truthfully he finds this thought rather depressing.

I was thinking about how hot it must be working on the crown molding, so decided to take the guys some cold bottled water to drink. The chance to speak to Jack again never entered my head. *wink*

As I handed him his water our hands brushed
and our eyes locked.
I was dumbfounded, couldn't move or think of a thing to say.
Thank goodness at that moment Chin saved the day needing to go for a walk. So I grabbed the opportunity to get out of there with a little grace. lol
After Heather left the room the guys quickly got back to work.
Steve being witness to the sparks brought on by a simple brush of hands advices Jack TO ASK HER OUT ALREADY!!!

Another surprise for the girls!
Recently I purchased some playline furniture from ebay, it was a mixed lot that I brought for the patio set, but once it arrived I found I could use the other pieces also. YAY.

The girls are trying out this bookshelf for size in the living room.
(formally the center shelves from the barbie toy store)

Perfect, or at least it would be if it just wasn't so YELLOW!

A little sanding, spray painted with a red/brown base coat, then dry brushed with a darker brown and you would believe it was the same piece.

With the living room put back together, the new bookshelf and some personal touches the girls sit back to relax and discuss current events over a cup of tea.

Oh my goodness your not going to believe what Heather just told me!

She has a thing for Jack!

I told her she must be crazy, I mean really, he is a playline doll, she is a goldlabel silkstone.
It could never work.

But before I could convince her how insane she is, out of nowhere appears another girl.
She introduced herself to us as Brett and said she was our newest roommate.

Here we go again lol.
Heather was a little concerned about having another roommate, though I think she was just still upset because of the Jack thing.

I told her not to worry about it, it would be ok, even if this girl has questionable fashion sense, besides.....
Chin loved her right away.
Hi, I am Brett, A OOAK Wild Child Silkstone by Liquid Sunshine Dolls
I have wild mohair, freckles and a little more edge than the other girls,
but I know we are going to have a blast living together.

I cant wait to go on my first MGD fashion shoot
and get a fab pic up on the living room wall too.

Though my main goal is to shake things up around here *giggles*
