A home in the making!
May 21st 2006
WOW it is Sunday again already!! What a busy week we have had here in the doll house (when mum isn't making bride dolls that is.) Let me catch you up a little.
We decided that the bedroom wallpaper looked so good with the living room set, we would go ahead and use it in the parlor as well. I have a soft beige and white marble type floor, and we took the printable throw rug from the bedroom also.
It is still looking a little bare in here though.

BTW the living room set was mum's anniversary present from Dad this year. Aint he a sweety.

It was made by a lady named Julie from ebay
(ebay ID: praisehim54 ).

Oh let me tell you what happened Thursday.

I am sitting on the sofa contemplating what else we need to do to this room,
and enjoying that mum evicted the noisy giggling girls that used to live on this self. *shudders*

This shelf is right below my bedroom and they would just be giggling and talking ALL NIGHT!!

Oh sorry, I was telling you what happened on Thursday.

I am sitting on the couch when I hear someone
up in the bedroom.

So I get up intending to head up there
and see who is in my room.

When in walks this scottish chick,

She comes over and introduces herself as Heather...

My NEW ROOMMATE.

hmph...no-one asked me if I wanted a roommate.
She leaves the room and comes back in carrying a gift
FOR ME!!

Well maybe she isn't that bad after all.

What would a girl from the UK bring as a
house-warming gift?
A tea set of course!

So we sat down, had a spot of tea and got to know each other. I think this could work.

Hi, I'm Heather, I am a Highland Fling silkstone Barbie.
I am so excited to be here and to get to know Clare.
I know we are going to be great girlfriends.

The tea set was a stroke of brilliance mum.

And also a big Thnx to Julie for the advice on the tea-set
and what scale to look for.
